About Me

Hello. My name is Jocelyn Matthews. My husband Max has cancer, and our lives have been turned upside down. We used to both be working professionals who worked ten to twelve hour days. He can no longer work, and I don’t want to. I want to spend all the time I can home with Max. Since he was diagnosed with cancer nearly two years ago, Max has been in and out of the hospital. This last visit had him out of the hospital and into a rehabilitation facility for two weeks before he was able to come home. Once home, we found that he needed help with many basic things. Max also needs his vitals monitored at least three times a week. We have a wonderful home health care worker that comes by five times a week. I’m going to share about how home health care has helped us.
